In April 2022, I hosted my first mini sessions at a local family-owned property called Wild Hearts Farm in Tacoma’s Midland neighborhood. They have a beautiful, huge property with a variety of options to use as backdrops for photos. For this set of minis, I choose to use their resident white vintage truck. The bed was decorated with bright pillows and blankets with spring themed accents.
There is a good variety of spaces to use for photos at the property
They also have a glass house on the property that has dreamy light pouring through in all directions. We were lucky enough to sneak in there during one of the sessions with this spunky 5th grader (isn’t she adorable?).
Their flower fields weren’t quite in bloom during our time there, but I would love to host another mini session event there when the gardens are full of blossoms!
Wild Hearts Farm has a gorgeous willow tree with an oversized swing hanging from its branches
The area by the pond also has an oversized tree swing hanging from a beautiful willow tree that made a lovely little nook for photos.
(Am I the only one who thinks of Disney’s Pocahontas every time they see a willow tree?)
I’m very happy with how these sessions turned out! I’m looking forward to hosting minis here again the future.
